THIRUMURUGAATRUPADAI - 2019

A famous work of Tamil Literature, from the Sangam era, Thirumurugaatrupadai, was staged as a dance production depicting the story behind the birth of Lord Muruga. The original work, written by Nakkeerar was combined with the Thirupugazh of Arunagirinadhar, which details the Arupadai Veedu of Lord Muruga.

DASAVATHARAM - 2017

Dasavatharam, a dance production, was an attempt to visually present the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu through Bharatanatyam with novel lyrics written by Sri. T. H. Thiyagarajan, who also composed music & dance choreographed by Dr. S. Divyasena.

ANNAMAYYA NAVARASA NRITHYAMALA- 2016

The popular compositions of Tallapaka Annamacharya, an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateshwara were woven into a garland. The chosen compositions established the Nava Rasas of Indian theatre.

ANDAL VAIBHAVAM- 2015

This thematic production was specially made by selecting and composing only the verses of Aandal (Nachiyar thirumozhi) and a few verses of Periyalwar. The entire production revolves around the life of Aandal from her birth in the thulasi maadam to her union with Renganathar. The production was staged with a grant offered by the Iyal Isai Nadaga Mandram, Tamilnadu.

NAVA VIDA SAMBANDAM- 2014

Kulasekara Alwar, one of the 12 Vaishnavite saints, composed 10 Pasurams in ‘Aindhaam Thirumozhi’, explaining the relationship between Jeevatma and Sriman Narayana, by choosing 9 types of mundane relationships for illustration. This was presented by Divyanjali as a dance production, “Nava Vidha Sambandam”, supported by a grant from the Ministry of Culture, Central Government of India (under the Producon Grant Scheme).

LAYA THRAYAM - 2013

This dance production was compiled with the Laya (thala) as the main aspect. It included various compositions by different composers and featured a special segment of thala and swaras highlighting the layam concept, that was composed by Sri Srikanth Gopalakrishnan and Sri B P Haribabu. This was first staged in New Delhi in 2012 and later hit the stages during the Margazhi Season of the same year.

A tribute to Lalgudi Sri G Jayaraman

“Pannum Bharathamum” was a thematic presentation in margam format to establish the importance of Tamil Literature. The nadaswara vidwan Sri T A P Ravishankar composed a mallari and a Varnam for the production. The production was featured on the national daily “The Hindu”.

This thematic production revolves around the life of Lord Hanuman. Several unique compositions like Hanuman chalisa, Panchamukha Hanumath stothram were choreographed and presented as a part of the production. Music composer: Sri Ramesh Babu,

THRAYEE

"Thrayee" is a tribute to honor the " Sangeetha Mumoorthigal" or the Carnac Trinity, Thyagaraja, Shyamasasthri and Muthusamy Dheekshidhar. The producon was choreographed as jugalbandhi of Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam.

PURATCHI MANDHAAR

The production revolves around four very strong and powerful women from our itihasam and puranam. The lives of Draupathi, Tarai, Mandodhari, and Ahalya were presented in the production. Lyrics:Dr Raguraman
